Privacy Policy
Latch is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: Latch stores counts, statuses and links. It does not read or store the contents of your email, and it does not store card numbers.
1. What we collect today
- Waitlist: your email address, the industry you select (hospitality, real estate, sales, other), and the time you signed up.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, plan, billing status and the last four card digits from Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic technical data: standard request data (IP address, browser type) processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site.
2. What Latch will collect when connectors are enabled
Only when you choose to connect a service, and only what the feature needs:
- Mail: an unread count, optionally filtered by a sender address or label you specify. We store the count, the filter you set, and a link to open your mail app. We do not store subjects, bodies, attachments or message lists.
- Calendar: event time, title and calendar name for the next 7 days, plus a link to the event. Not attachments or full descriptions where we can avoid it.
- Storage (including your own AWS, IBM, Oracle or other cloud): used and total size and object counts. Not file contents.
- CRM (for example Salesforce): counts of new items (such as uploaded files) and a link to the record. Not file contents.
- Sales and bookings: totals and counts from your payment or booking tool, not cardholder data or guest notes.
- API monitor: the URLs you add, the HTTP status and time of the last check. Not response bodies.
- Credentials: OAuth tokens, or an app password if you use IMAP, are stored encrypted and used only to run your checks. You can revoke them at any time from your provider or by disconnecting in Latch.
Because these features read account data from Google, Microsoft and others, our use of that data will comply with their API policies, including limited-use requirements. We will not use it for advertising or sell it.
3. How we use information
To run the Service and show your summaries, process payments, send account and setup emails, contact waitlist members about Latch, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share with
Service providers that process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage), Stripe (payments), and an email delivery provider when we send mail. We also share data if required by law or to protect our rights. If the business is sold, data may transfer to the buyer under this policy.
5. Retention
Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them. Account data is kept while your subscription is active. After cancellation we delete or de-identify organization data and connector credentials within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons. Snapshots are periodic summaries and are replaced or expired on a rolling basis.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Connector credentials are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure; tell us promptly if you suspect a problem.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, unsubscribe from emails, or disconnect any connector at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK) you may have additional rights, including objecting to processing and lodging a complaint with a regulator. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
The current site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The signed-in product will use essential cookies to keep you logged in. Stripe and Cloudflare may set cookies needed for payments and security.
9. Children
Latch is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you by email.
